Buying Online vs Local Shopping

Buying online does appear to provide some type of “convenience”. But has this convenient way of shopping become less convenient? Do you receive what you purchase? Are deliveries on time? Has the supply chain affected availability?

These are all good questions. 

When you shop at a local store you are able to purchase a tangible item or service after interacting with people from your community. You’re neighbors. This encourages the local community and builds local unity. Thrift stores are a key resource in this area. You are able to purchase items that you can see and touch. You can purchase and use the item the same day.

No need to raise prices, as we are a community-driven resource that is 100% managed by local volunteers. No salaries. No waste. No desire to take advantage of the community in which we serve.
